Positive: Location was an easy, flat, 20 minute walk to town in a nice area of the city with local cafes, restaurants and bars around. Building was very quiet and felt secure. Host was very communicative and responive when needed. Lounge was a good size. Easy access to buses or around 6 pound in a taxi.
Negative: We did have some issues with the overall state of cleanliness in the property, especially in the kitchen. As others have said, the bed is small and the linen, pillows etc are due for an update. The overall feel of the property is 'tired'. However, I raised these concerns with the owner while we were still at the property and they were very grateful for the honest comments and have offered me some free nights once they have addressed all the issues so don't let this put you off. Once the place has been freshened up and given a little TLC it will be a really well priced, well located little place to stay.
